Three ways to access ULMEKA test capability..

Buy the system, send your product for testing, or rent equipment with IoT monitoring. The right model depends on what you actually need.

Why three models.

Different customers need different things from a test programme. A defense OEM running continuous qualification needs a system in-house. A start-up evaluating its first compliance test needs the test done, not the equipment. An R&D group running an intermittent test cycle needs equipment available when they need it — and gone when they don't.

We offer three access models because forcing every customer into the same answer (a sale) misses what the customer actually wants. The models are listed below; the right model emerges from a short conversation, not from a form.

Model 1: Buy the system.

You own the equipment; it lives in your facility; your team operates it. ULMEKA's role is engineering, manufacturing, delivery, calibration and training.

What's included:

  • System engineered to the agreed specification
  • Factory acceptance test (FAT) before shipping
  • Site acceptance test (SAT) and commissioning at your facility
  • Initial calibration with traceable certificates
  • Operator training delivered at your facility or ours
  • Documentation: operating manuals, test procedures, calibration records, electrical and mechanical drawings

When this model fits:

  • The test is part of your regular qualification or production verification cycle
  • You have or are building in-house test capability
  • The required equipment is part of an ongoing engineering function, not a one-off

What follows the sale:

  • Annual or semi-annual calibration services (on site or by return-to-base)
  • Spare parts and consumables supply
  • Engineering support for new test methods using the same chamber

Model 2: Send your product for testing.

You ship your product to ULMEKA; we run the test in our facility; we send you a certified report. You do not buy any equipment.

What's included:

  • Test plan agreed in writing before the product is shipped
  • Sample preparation and conditioning per the relevant standard
  • Test execution to the agreed procedure
  • Functional verification before and after exposure (if applicable)
  • Test report with traceable measurement records
  • Return shipment of the tested sample (with notes if degradation was observed)

When this model fits:

  • You need the test result, not the equipment
  • The required test is occasional or one-off
  • You are evaluating a new product against a standard for the first time
  • Pre-compliance screening before committing to a formal compliance lab campaign
  • Your project does not justify the capital expense of a dedicated chamber

What it does not replace:

This is not a substitute for accredited third-party compliance testing where regulatory or contractual requirements demand it. Pre-compliance and engineering verification testing — yes; formal certification testing — depends on the relevant standard and accreditation requirement.

Model 3: Rent the equipment.

You rent equipment for the period you need it; it is delivered to your facility; ULMEKA retains ownership and handles maintenance and calibration.

What's included:

  • Equipment delivered and installed at your facility
  • Operator training at the start of the rental period
  • IoT monitoring throughout the rental — equipment status, temperature, pressure and other relevant parameters streamed back to ULMEKA for remote diagnostic and predictive support
  • Scheduled maintenance during the rental window
  • Calibration before delivery and at agreed intervals
  • Equipment collection at end of rental

When this model fits:

  • Your test programme has a defined start and end (a one-year qualification campaign, for example)
  • Your team is comfortable operating but does not want to take on equipment ownership
  • The test requires equipment that would not justify capital expenditure but is needed in-house for confidentiality or scheduling reasons
  • You want to verify the right specification before committing to a purchase

IoT monitoring

Every rental unit includes ULMEKA's IoT instrumentation. This is not a marketing add-on; it lets us monitor equipment health remotely, identify maintenance needs before they cause downtime and respond to operational questions quickly. Your data stays your data — the IoT layer monitors equipment, not the products being tested.

Turnkey Laboratory Setup.

Need a complete test laboratory built in one programme rather than equipment item by item? ULMEKA designs and installs turnkey laboratories that combine multiple test capabilities — IP ingress, MIL-STD-810 environmental, RTCA DO-160, solar panel testing, lighting fixture testing, faucet and tapware testing — into a single coordinated setup.

A turnkey lab setup brings together everything covered in Model 1, scaled to a multi-system delivery:

  • System engineering and manufacturing for each test capability you need
  • On-site installation, integration and commissioning
  • Initial calibration with traceable certificates for every system
  • Operator training across the full installed inventory
  • Documentation: operating manuals, test procedures, calibration records, mechanical and electrical drawings

This is the right model when a customer is establishing a new compliance laboratory, expanding an existing one with multiple coordinated additions, or replacing legacy equipment across several test methods at once.

Pricing.

We do not publish prices. Each model has different cost structures — a system purchase, a per-test fee, or a rental rate — and each project varies on scope, sample size, schedule and supporting services. We quote against the specifics of your project after a conversation.

WHICH MODEL FITS

Tell us what you need to test.

The right model is rarely obvious from outside. Describe the project — the product, the standard, the schedule, the constraints — and we will outline the model that fits and the next sensible step.
